Blackwell

Mr. Blackwell, a.k.a. Richard Blackwell, (b. early 1920s) is best known for his infamous annual Worst-Dressed Women list, but he is one of the most important American designers to come out of the west coast. Known for his classic styling, he was the first designer to present his line as a major television show and the first to create his collections in plus sizes for larger women. The Historic Collection has over 80 Mr. Blackwell labels, his scrapbooks, and master patterns.
