Faculty

Leadership and academic achievements demonstrate high levels of faculty recognition by both industry awards and the International Textile and Apparel Association. Several faculty have received the Outstanding Graduate Student Research Award from the International Textile and Apparel Association (ITAA);some have received top research grants and awards; we have two past presidents of ITAA; a 1996 ITAA Fellow for exceptional service to the field, and have earned awards for apparel design work internationally. The Merchandising concentration was selected by the American Textile Manufacturers Institute as its first Program of Excellence in 1989.
