Special Opportunities

If you are interested in sustainability and the relationship of the built environment to nature, or if you are looking for a course that will enhance your documentation, and appreciation of applied design sketching consider one of them for the Maho Bay experience in the summer. Looking for experience in a design organization so you will know what to expect - an internship or co-op experience can be structured to explore your interests outside the classroom. What about service to the community? Service Learning opportunities at CSU often find students engaged in studio projects that help the local communities. This year seniors worked with residents at the Berthoud Living Center on a fabulous mural project. Previous Service Learning experiences included the Fort Collins Islamic community designing a complex to meet their needs, and seniors also worked with a Colorado school district to explore development options for an abandoned school building.

Have you thought about teaching or working with students? The Supervised College Teaching Program lets you help with a class and learn valuable approaches to learning. CSU Interior Design wants to make your learning experience meaningful.
